The very first hiking time on Norwegian mountains (that was just a very small hill in real)

Ok, let’s start a story from the beginning and with an answer to such question – why we decide to do it?

It is simple to answer. And there are several reasons.

First, answer what comes in mind – because all Norwegian do it and it is so easy to follow their passion. And as we are new here – we want to fit in.

A second reason, we decide before coming to Norway that by moving and starting a new life, we want to change our lifestyle to a more active one.

We wait for more like springtime weather and decide to go out for small trace. We found the information on the internet, and it was not so far from our home.

First what we realized – If you don’t know where the real path for this route is starting – you would not be able to find it for yourself especially if it’s your first time hiking in Norway.

We walked at an approximately right place but didn’t see where to start our tur. For our luck, we met very kind old Norwegian men in nearest camping spot who helped as even he told that he doesn’t speak English, we got help that we needed. 👍

Well, it still was winter here. 😁 We realized that end of April this year is still not a spring even if it’s warmer the snow can’t melt in shadows of woods so fast as we think.

We were going and going and going… In the end, we reach a top. We thought that was a high mountain (higher than we have in Latvia) but in reality – it was only 150m high.

Actually, it was a little bit hard for us. We realized, that we are not in a good shape, not at all.
